What is the ideal speed variator for my scooter?  

The JCosta transversal variator simplifies the transmission system of your scooter providing higher performance without sacrificing the reliability of your scooter. Thanks to a design fully adapted to each scooter, the internal temperature of the variator is reduced, thus providing greater durability of the elements that make up the variator.

To achieve these features, the rollers and ramps found in a conventional variator have been replaced by masses (adjustable in weight), a bell and a moving plate.

Variator JCosta PRO

The new PRO series of variators differs from the previous ones by having heat sinks inside the variator in the form of a circle with projections between the mass area and the bushing area, so that the temperature and weight of the new and exclusive variator is reduced, in addition to having a new aerodynamic design. The cavities of the masses are perforated so that the pressure-depression effect makes them act more quickly and smoothly both at the entrance of a higher gear and in the reduction to a lower gear without appreciating jumps, that is, to take advantage of the air as a dynamic fluid to help the masses to emerge or be collected in a faster way without increasing fuel consumption.

The new XRP (XTREME RACING PARTS) series of variators differs from the previous ones by having heat sinks inside the variator in the form of a circle with protrusions between the mass area and the bushing area. The masses cavities are holed so that the pressure-depression effect makes them act more quickly and smoothly both at the entrance of a higher gear and at the exit to a lower gear without jumps, i.e. to take advantage of the air as a dynamic fluid to help the masses to emerge or be collected in a faster way without increasing fuel consumption.
